Do you offer a trial period?
Yes – 60 days! We recognize that purchasing a math curriculum is a difficult but very important decision, and we are committed to customer satisfaction. Therefore, we offer a 60-day trial period on all our printed products to give you time to examine and try out Math on the Level to see if it is right for your family.
What is your return policy?

Math on the Level comes with a 60 day examination period which starts the day you receive the curriculum. During this trial period, treat the curriculum like it belongs to someone else. If you decide to return your purchase, the books should be free of markings, notes, spills, tears, folded pages, scratches, bent edges, and odors. During the trial period, you can copy the Concept Chart and other record keeping forms so you don't have to make marks on the original ones.
We get few returns. Please contact us first before returning any item to get instructions and a return address.
How to Package the Books
We recommend using the original white box and packing materials and a new USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box. If you no longer have the original shipping materials, please wrap the books in sufficient large-bubble wrap to prevent them from being damaged from being jostled inside the box.
Books which smell of cigarette smoke odors are non-returnable.
I have the Starter Set (discontinued). How do I buy the Starter Set Upgrade?
Math on the Level is designed as one integrated, complete curriculum. We once offered a portion of the curriculum as the Math on the Level Starter Set and the remaining books as the Starter Set Upgrade. The Starter Set was discontinued in 2011, but for those who need it, we still offer the Starter Set Upgrade, which is located in our Replacement Products area.
Do you sell individual volumes?
Since Math on the Level is designed to work as a complete set, we no longer offer its volumes for individual sale. If you are a registered user of Math on the Level, either by being an original purchaser or else by buying the support package, you can log in and purchase replacement volumes directly (see the link to replacement volumes on your User Menu).
What if I run out of record keeping forms?
We intend for the original user of Math on the Level to be able to the curriculum to teach allof their children. The consumable portion of the curriculum is in the Overview and Record Keeping binder, which has the record-keeping forms. If you are a registered curriculum user and run out of these forms, just log in to our website and your User Menu will have links to printable copies along with links to the latest version of the Math on the Level autoscheduling spreadsheet. These items are available only after the 60-day trial period ends (or sooner if you know you are going to keep the curriculum and want to end the trial period early).
Note: if you purchased a used copy of Math on the Level, please click here for more information on how to become registered for full support and obtain the printable record keeping forms and spreadsheet.
If you purchased Math on the Level at a convention, first create a login (if you don't already have one), and then contact us with your login username and the information which will help us link you with your purchase. Once we have matched up your username with our purchase records, we will turn on access to these support items for you.
Are you coming to our area?
We have attended (and spoken at) many homeschool conventions and book fairs, and we post upcoming information on our website calendar. Since we also are a homeschooling family, there are years when we must scale back on travel and the very high cost of attending conventions. Check back to see when we will be in an area near you!
Why am I having problems viewing your website?
If you cannot view our website, or if the edges are black and non-viewable, it may be that your web browser resolution is set too low. The simplest way to fix it is to hold down the Ctrl key and then press the 0 (zero) key; this will return the browser to its default resolution. Alternatively, hold down the Ctrl key and then press the - (minus) key a couple of times. This will progressively make things look progressively smaller; to make things larger, hold down the Ctrl key and press the + key a couple of times. If that doesn't fix it, or if you get errors when you click a link or tab (404 error), then please contact us.
What is the best way to make payment?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards. Our website uses SSL encryption and is fully integrated with authorize.net as our payment gateway, which provides immediate authorization and safeguards your financial information (which is not stored on our website).
We also accept PayPal payment, either as a credit card processor or using its many payment options. Using PayPal, once the order is placed you are routed to the PayPal site to complete the transaction; afterward, you are automatically routed back to our website to view your receipt (which is also emailed to you).
If you are part of a school or organization that provides payment for educational materials using a Purchase Order process, please check first to see if we are already on your organization's "Approved Vendor" list. If so, then please follow your organization's procedure to place an order (which may involve using the Purchase Order payment option). If your school's Approved Vendor list does not yet include Math on the Level, please ask them to contact us and we will be glad to work with them.
Are my purchases secure?
Yes. When you register on our site or make a purchase, you share personal information with us (which mostly consists of your login name, password, and contact information). To make sure this information stays confidential, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. When you log in or make a purchase, our website automatically changes to use (https:// instead of the normal http://).
There are two ways to make a purchase on our site: directly, using a credit card, or using PayPal. To keep your credit card information safe and secure, we use Authorize.net as our credit card payment gateway. We do not store any financial information on our website or in our database other except the last four digits of the credit card used to make a purchase (which are also printed on your invoice).
How do I log into your website?
When you make a purchase from us, you are automatically registered and a password is automatically generated and sent to you. By default, our website uses your email address as your username. Registered users can log in and change their username and password, view invoices and contact information (our website does not store any financial information) and gain access to support pages. If you have forgotten your login information, try using your email as you username and then click the "Forgot Your Password?" link to obtain a new password.
How do I get the record keeping spreadsheet?
During the 60-day trial period, you can log in to our website, and the "Your Details" menu will include a link to the trial version of the spreadsheet. After your trial period ends (or when you are sure you are going to keep the curriculum), please contact us to let us know you are keeping the curriculum, and we will turn on full access to all of the MOTL support items.

I'm having trouble downloading my e-book. What do I do?
When you purchase a downloadable item, your email receipt will have the download link in blue underline font, located just below the item name and price. Click that link, and your default web browser will open and be directed to our download page.
When downloading a file, we recommend using the "save file" option instead of the "open file" option. Choose a location on your computer to store the file (such as in you My Downloads file in My Documents or else on your Desktop). If your download is interrupted and the downloaded file is incomplete, you will get an error message when you try to open it. If that happens, try the download again, but this time save the file to a different location. You may also need to clear your web browser's download history or file cache.
The download link remains open for five days after your first download attempt. If after 3 attempts you are unable to get your purchased download, please contact us and we will assist. Also, if you lose your downloaded product, please contact us and we will be happy to replace it for you.
Our website is tested with all common web browsers and with both PC and Apple computer platforms. Occasionally we encounter the situation where a customers has set web browser security settings in a way that blocks their download. Because this is very hard to troubleshoot, we recommend trying a different browser like Firefox or Chrome using the default security settings. If you have exhausted your download attempts but have not been successful in obtaining your purchased e-book, don't worry – contact us and we'll gladly re-open the link and provide assistance.
