An important step for children to be proficient with math is to master basic math facts (math operations involving two single digit numbers). The 9's Down Math Facts are a complete set of math fact timing sheets (with separate answer keys) that are designed to achieve math fact mastery.  This is achieved through a carefully designed set of math drill sheets.

Each page of practice problems is designed to introduce new math facts gradually. By starting with the nines and working down, the child gets the greatest amount of practice with the most difficult math facts. By timing the math fact practice drills, the child must rely on memorization (instead of counting) in order to answer all of the problems correctly.

There are two volumes in the hardcopy version of the 9's Down Maths:

  • 9's Down Math Facts: Addition and Subtraction (160 pages)
  • 9's Down Math Facts: Multiplication and Division (160 pages)

The hardcopy 9's Down Math Facts are sold as individual volumes or in a 2-volume set .  To use the hardcopy volumes, you to photocopy the timing sheets (example ) as often as needed for your whole family. 

e-Book Format of the 9's Down Math Facts

The 9's Down Math Facts are also available as downloadable files . In this e-book format, you can purchase each operation (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, or Division) one at a time.   The e-book version lets you use a printer (instead of a photocopier) to produce the timing drill sheets and forms.
